Bill and Peggy Birkemeier created the tin shop as a showroom for their tinware along with a few pieces of Bob and Millie’s furniture and Wendy’s “Tree of Life” painting. The Tin Shop was on display at the National Geographic Society Explorers Hall in Washington D.C. from December 14 to February 17, 1985.
